Mt Cheaha

Every year my extended family spends a weekend up in Mt. Cheaha, AL (the tallest point in the state of Alabama) to celebrate Christmas. My cousin helps to run the state parks in Alabama and actually lives on the top of Mt Cheaha - with his wife and a pet raccoon. There's a huge lodge that we stay at up there. Here are some pictures:

Making Christmas cookies before leaving for Mt. Cheaha.

Luke and I out hiking...It was freezing!!!
Some of the girls on the hike.

Me and Austin.

The beautiful view from the top of one of the waterfalls.

Me and Luke.

Amy and Aunt Patti wondering what in the world they had gotten themselves into. We had to cross over multiple creeks (with large jumps from rocks to rocks involved) on the hikes up to the waterfalls. Both Aunt Patti and Amy managed to get their shoes soaking wet.

Abby was absolutely fearless as she bounced from rock to rock.
