Last weekend, we threw a dessert couples shower for Andy and Kristen, a pharmacy friend of mine and her fiance, who are getting married in April. Since all of our pharmacy girls are in different regions now, it was great to see everyone and catch up!
Here is our dessert table. We asked everyone to RSVP, but no one did. So....all of this food for only ~15 people. Needless to say, we had TONS of leftovers!
I decided to get ambitious and make a pumpkin cake, spiders, and the witches hats (seen below). In hindsight, we should have just bought a cake - it would have been much less work at about the same total price. Plus, we would've gotten more sleep. Eight spiders took about 4 hours. We will never make these again because they were so tedious, so I wanted evidence that we actually made them. Just ask me or Luke - we hate these spiders!

Whoa! I am super impressed by the pumpkin cake! And love the witches hats! You can also make pilgrims hats in a similar way :) Hope everything is going well! Love ya'll!
I can't believe you made a pumpkin cake. I am so impressed! I don't think I am patient enough to create that masterpiece! :)
