Sorry for the year-long blog hiatus....I've been somewhat preoccupied with this...

....but no more. Last paper and presentation turned in. Last residency weekend worked. After a very long road, I'm finally done. Yes, I know that everyone else finished this school thing years ago, but I'm finally DONE. And it feels so good.
This year has taught me so much, and not just about pharmacy. Just when I thought I'd never finish, here we are. I've made some great friends (best co-residents in the world) - I have absolutely no idea what I'll do without them.

And my husband has sacrificially served when I haven't been able to do things - cleaning, cooking, running errands, getting up at the crack of down and staying up til the wee hours of the morning, working weekends with me, existing with a "made up wife" (so his coworkers and our Sunday school class say), and so much more! He earned this certificate just as much as I did!

Thank you so much to everyone who has been so great throughout all of this. For everyone that I haven't stayed in touch with as much. And Luke and Moose who've had to live with all this (and let me assure you that THAT has not been easy).
So, here's to a new stage of life. Tuesday is my last day. Followed by a vacation. Then a real job... I'm staying on at Huntsville Hospital as a pharmacist split between the main hospital and women's and children's hospital (labor and delivery, pediatrics, women's surgery). I'll be working 2nd shift (~11am to 10pm) but only approximately 32 hours every week. Bring on the real world.
