Life these days....

This is a post that I've been meaning to write for a while, but I have been putting it off because I had no idea how to catch up over the months that I've been MIA.  Since the last post, we've had a lot of changes....

1.  Traded in the 2-seater truck and upgraded to this:

2.  I significantly reduced my work hours from full time to a few days a month.  This was a hard decision that we prayed long and hard about, but we are confident that it is best for our family and very grateful for God's provision to allow us to do so.

3.  We were able to take multiple fun vacations with family.

4.  We actually hung pictures in our house (I'm sad to say that it took months in a new house for me to accomplish this) and purchased furniture.

5.  I joined the rest of the 21st century and added a smart phone (notice the before and after).

All of these changes were ultimately the result of one of the biggest changes in our lives....

Meet William Brock Edwards.  Born November 1, 2012. We are so grateful for this beautiful baby boy!

He is now 3 months old and changing each day.  The past few months have been a transition time for us as we added this little guy to our family, and I transitioned to primarily being a stay at home mom.

I'm not going to lie, parts of this time have been very challenging from nursing difficulties, to worries about his weight, to sleepless nights.

But these months have been some of the best of my life, and I would not trade them for the world.  He is such a sweet, happy baby (despite what the pictures look like, because yes, I have that child that refuses to smile as soon as the camera comes out!), and we love him more than I could ever have imagined possible!
