I had an amazing day yesterday which was honestly just what I needed. I've just been in one of those end of semester slumps where there seems to be way too much to do, with too little time to do it, while feeling not competent to do any of it! Yesterday, I met with my pharmacy school mentor to discuss possible options after graduation. Right now I feel like God's leading me towards hospital pharmacy. To pursue this career option, I will need to do a year long internship (residency) after graduation. My mentor was amazing and gave me all kinds of information about these programs and what students need to be competitive in these fields. I felt so much better after gaining some insight into these programs and talking through different options. My mentor offered to write me a recommendation letter and made me feel like I could be competent in these areas. I was so encouraged about all of the possibilities that these next years will bring! Who knows where God will send us after our time here at Auburn!
We've been out of town a lot lately, so Luke decided to take my out on a date last night. We went to Cock of the Walk which was absolutely fantastic (although we both ate WAYYYYYY too much)! Then we came back home to carve our pumpkin.

Oh, and on a side note....who knew tonight was Trick-or-Treat night!!! Not me! After not having even one trick-or-treater last year, we had 3 within 15 minutes this year!!! Needless to say, I was scavenging the pantry. Luckily, mom sent us home with some candy from this past weekend. I felt like a scrooge because we quickly turned our lights off before more kids came by and all we had to offer was an apple.
