Residencies

Residency applications are completed - all 5 of them. Despite:

• miscommunication with everyone
• panic about a recommendation that had not been received
• having to ask another preceptor to write a recommendation with 4 hours notice
• driving to Montgomery to pick up the reference
• overnighting applications at a charge of $23/application due to the recommendation issue
• all to find out the original person had written recommendations (yes, that means I have 4 recommendations instead of the 3 required for all 5 programs)
• finding out today that 2 transcripts were mistakenly not sent by Auburn
• setting up FedEx account in order to rush transcripts to residency programs (Auburn takes 8-10 business days to send transcripts; therefore, they would not be there in time)

Everything's finally submitted (or least I think so...). So from here, we just wait. I've got 2 interviews scheduled already (I'm so excited!) - the first being Wednesday January 20 (yes, that's 1 week from today). We'll keep everybody updated as we find out more information!
