- Pastor Al's sermon this morning was on abortion. He gave a statistic that 1/3 of every conceptions end in abortions. Wow - I had no idea that statistic was so high. It was a good sermon, and it seemed to hit especially close to home since I'm in the neonatal intensive care unit now and see children on a daily basis that were born around 23 weeks.
- Andy Layne came and spent the weekend with us this weekend (Hillary was babysitting and couldn't join us). Luke, Andy, and some other guys watched Auburn beat Alabama in basketball on Saturday. Amy and I went to Atlanta to go formal dress shopping (and we had our share of people watching too). We ended up the weekend with a visit to Momma G's. Not too bad, huh?
- Luke and I will be driving up to Hunstville on Monday for my interview on Tuesday. We're staying with Travis, and Luke is going to meet with some guys up in Huntsville that he's working on a project for relating to his master's degree. I'd appreciate your prayers throughout this whole situation. 1. That my nerves/anxiety wouldn't get the best of me 2. That these people would really be able to see my heart and who I am 3. That throughout this whole process, we would remember that we are not in control and that the Lord is.
